The Los Angeles Pierce College baseball team kept its momentum going Tuesday afternoon, earning a 6–4 win over Moorpark College at Joe Kelly Field for their third straight victory.
Moorpark jumped out early, scoring two runs in the top of the first inning to take an early lead. Pierce responded quickly, getting on the board in the second before tying the game in the third.
The Brahmas took control in the fourth inning, scoring three runs to swing the momentum in their favor.
Offensively, Pierce collected nine hits. JJ Fagfoomsintu led the way with two hits and an RBI, while Jeremy Jones also had two hits and scored twice. Christian Santiago added two hits, and Isaiah Chaves drove in two runs to help power the Brahmas offense.
On the mound, Pierce used multiple pitchers to secure the win. Tyler Sileo delivered a strong outing in relief, pitching five innings while striking out six and allowing just one run to earn the victory. Brayden Briscoe closed the game with three innings of work to pick up the save.
With the win, the Brahmas continue their strong stretch and will look to keep the streak alive as the season rolls on.
