Pierce Men’s Volleyball Lands Three on All-Conference List

The LA Pierce College men's volleyball team earned multiple Western State Conference honors following the conclusion of the 2026 season, highlighted by a First Team All-Conference selection for freshman outside hitter Ryder Tafoya.
Tafoya emerged as one of the Brahmas' top offensive threats throughout the season, finishing with 236 kills while averaging 3.37 kills per set across 20 matches. The freshman also totaled 268.5 points on the year and posted a .273 hitting percentage, helping lead Pierce through conference play with his consistency and scoring ability.
Pierce also saw sophomores Sam Henry and Kenned Vea earn Honorable Mention All-Conference recognition for their contributions during the 2026 campaign.
Henry continued to be a major contributor offensively for the Brahmas, recording 181 kills this season while averaging 2.59 kills per set. He added 217 total points and 38 total blocks while appearing in all 20 matches for Pierce.
Vea provided depth and defensive support throughout the season, appearing in 14 matches while contributing seven assists and 60 total receptions for the Brahmas.
