The Pierce College Women's Soccer team made program history with a dominant 14-0 win on the road, showcasing offensive firepower that will be remembered for years to come. The Brahmas wasted no time imposing their will, jumping to a 6-0 lead by halftime and refusing to let up in the second half, scoring eight more goals to complete the 14-0 rout.
Leading the scoring charge were Natalie Grant and Melissa Nevarez, both sophomores, along with freshman Stephany Ramirez, each of whom recorded hat tricks in the match. Their combined nine goals set the tone for one of the most prolific offensive performances in Pierce history. The trio also added three assists. Ayiana Brazile added a brace and multiple assists, while Payton Larsen contributed across the field with one goal and three assists.
The Brahmas' performance was not only about offensive flair; it was a complete team effort. From defense to attack, every player contributed to the win. While the scoreline emphasizes the attacking dominance, the Brahmas' defensive organization deserves equal praise, allowing no clear chances and securing the team's second shutout of the season.
With non-conference play behind them and momentum at an all-time high, the Brahmas now prepare to begin Conference (WSC) competition. Their first conference matchup will take place on the road this Friday, September 26, against Cuesta College. Kick-off is scheduled at 4:00 p.m.
