LA Pierce Women's Soccer played to a 1-1 draw against Allan Hancock in a tough, hard-fought home match. Freshman forward Daniela McNamara gave the Brahmas an early second-half spark, scoring the opening goal to put Pierce ahead. Allan Hancock was awarded a penalty midway through the second half and capitalized to even the score at 1-1.
The Brahmas had a relentless attack, and Pierce created several chances, firing shots from all angles and keeping the Hancock goalkeeper busy. Despite this, the Brahmas were unable to find the go-ahead goal. The Brahmas' defense remained composed and organized, holding Hancock to limited chances.
The Brahmas return to action on Friday, October 3, at 4:00 PM when they take on Moorpark College at home. The match will also mark Faculty Night, celebrating the support and dedication of Pierce College's faculty and staff. Come out and support your team!
